Moment. Pick one moment during which you felt most alive this year. Describe it in vivid detail (texture, smells, voices, noises, colors). (Author: Ali Edwards)
Moments… they zoom by so fast. There is a moment though that stands out: I was driving with one of my favorite people and I was talking about feeling better. I remember telling her I finally understood; this illness was mine. No one was going to manage it for me – it was my responsibility. I remember we were driving fast on the highway, it was sunny and I felt strong – very strong.
Thank you for this! This is brave writing! I’m sorry that you have an illness to manage, but I am glad that you had this moment to remember.
I’m so excited to take this journey with you, too! We are going to learn all kinds of great stuff!
Thrilled you stopped by! Yes, we will learn
I have already.
Hi Kathryn! Thanks for sharing your moment with us. Even though I don’t know anything about the big picture behind this post, I felt moved that you felt strong. Cheers to you…
Hi there – Thanks for that. I’m shy about “the big picture” but I’m happy you could feel the emotion I tried to convey.
thanks for sharing your moment. one of mine from the beginning of this year also involved a car, a moment of clarity and my best friend (my husband). sounds similar.
